Hello everybody! it's the festive season et again! HAPPY CHINESE NEW YR! hehe...=)
Today's visiting was very interesting i would say...
About 10min into my visitation at my mum's side, my auntie's place(my family was the only ones to have reached at that time), my auntie cried suddenly as she told my mum something. I didnt quite get it, but figured it had to something to do with my cousin, her daughter that is.
It was soon that i got to know that my cousin's getting a divorce from her husband. The reason?
Because he is having an extra marital affair.
As I turn to reflect, I realise that out of the 3 cousins, who got married in the last five yrs, 2 are in the midst of divorce. The one above, already has 2 very young kids. The other one, well.. still is pretty bad... Her story would be pretty complicated and dramatic and pretty tragic to tell.. The third one, well.. the marriage started because of a third one in the tummy if you know what i mean.
But in any case, I dont know what to say of this thing going on in my relatives' lives. All I did and will want to continue to do, is to pray for them.... I pray that God, you take away any mindset of divorce in my family's hearts. You tell the world that marriage is a sacred, holy covenant to be kept and liven out in a couple's lives. You show the world through us christians what true love, committment, discipline and maturity is! God You move!!
