i've been listening to some good music, music that i can connect with, music that lifts up my soul and settles my heart.=)
I'm loving music all over again. I want to learn music all over again, complete my theory, learn singing.. you know, i realised that those who really know music, their background is strongly rooted in the foundations of the great, they love music of stevie wonder, ray charles, they learn classical music, know it well, and is able to incorporate into today's world, the current century, change it and make it relevant! that's what i want to hear...
Most imptly, music is so impt in our lives. What you hear makes a big bulk of who you become, cos it lifts your soul and it speaks to you. So choose your music carefully.
I need to bring truckloads of music to my office, otherwise i'm just gonna rot in a boring and dull environment. Gonna spice up my desk and corner! It's Gladys invasion!
anyway, hear out this new guy i found... he's called
方大同 .Peace! =D
what i look forward to, 1:14 PM.
I value my grandparents. This cny has been a breakthrough for me and my grandparents. Ever since being a Christian, I've been feeling more and more for them, and I think more and more of them. They are so important in my heart.
There were many times when I thought of them and wanted to visit them but failed to, either cos i'm tight up with other things or too tired. And late last year, I cried because I couldnt stand the fact that I'm so busy changing other people's lives but neglecting the ones that are just beside me and so close to me, esp. my grandparents.
So this year, I decided to sow into their lives. I recalled a day after work when I was so tired and my mind was thorn between visiting them and complying to my body's cry for rest. But while reading the book Tuesdays with Morrie on my ride home, I thought to myself, if today is your last day to live, or their last day to live, what is the thing that you will regret not doing if you hadnt done it? with that, I stepped out of the train at amk.
To cut the story short, during reunion dinner, my grandma spoke to me and guess what she said?
She said that she will specially segregate the vegetarian porridge we are gonna eat on the 1st day of cny from the rest that she's gonna put on the altar cos she understands that we are christians!
That to us is a shock, cos we never thought of asking her to do that, nor never told her anything about the lifestyle of a christian! From the start that we became a christian that goes to church every single week, she had reservations, opposed christianity and you can feel it. But now to hear her say and do that, even when I visited her on the 2nd day and she segregated the food again for us, I was very very touched and surprised.
My grandma rocks! I really believe God's grace is on my family. While the rest of our distant relatives of her age are getting blind, falling and ending in hospital etc, their cataract is still curable, and at 80+, enjoying ice-cream. I believe God will save them. I must believe.
Thank you very much Jesus. Today You showed me God's timing is perfect, have patience and keep sowing. Show me MORE.
what i look forward to, 3:16 AM.
