I am a very blessed girl.=)
I dont even knwo ow to begin this entry.. but everything that I'm thinking and feeling..it makes me very touched and blessed.
Throughly, God brings you closer to Him through people.
I had a very great time ytd afternoon having lunch with Sir and besty.=)
He was my secondary school band instructor.
He is a great man... a very caring person that goes beyond his responsibilities and duties to care and protect our welfare; the band and the girls' welfare.
It is only today that I finally comprehended the importance of him in my school years, even now..
"Hi though I'll just share my thoughts with you. Lunch ytd was pleasurable 'cos Eigene and you were very dear to me since PL days.. You especially 'cos I'd always hoped that some day you'll find God's love in a personal way. I was overwhelmed when I got news that you accepted the Lord and I shared this joy with my cell grp. I was really glad too when you made it a point to tell me you now have a boyfriend. All these years I'd always felt like I'm a father-figure to PL band girls.. The joy I felt ytd reinforces that feeling. It's God's blessing to me. Do keep in contact always k. It'll be such a pleasure to see all of you grow up through the years. God bless you.=)" -an sms by Sir this morning.
I was so touched...My Sir had believed in me, prayed for me, loved me and remembered me all these years.. All for a greater cause.. My Salvation. Throughly, I'm blessed. I'm awed at the way he protects the band despite of all the negative remarks and bad treatment from the school. The band has survived and grown through these years all because God has used this one man as a pillar to us.
