"You know, when i went to teach Joshua (Deborah and Calvin’s son) and i asked him this…
“Joshua, you love your sister alot yah?”
And he answered this that melts my heart…
“I loved her, coz she loved me first…”
I wondered where he learnt this from, is it from the song “First”?
And i asked him “Why do you say that?”
“Because every time when i play with her, she’ll laugh and smile and i know she loves me. That’s why i love her even more.”
Joshua’s only 6 and what he said melts my heart to know that a kid of his age can tell you the reason why he love others is because his sister loved him. But how does he even know how to judge how a 1+ year old kid express love?
I guess God works through people, and it really made me wanna love others more."
This is an extract from Eigene's latest blog entry, and it really touched my heart. To know that a small kid can love like that and to teach me about love is amazing and a bit shameful. but it makes me think about my relationship with bob. Bob really loves me alot, and yet many times I do not show him the love that ought to be reciprocrated back. I really should change my ways and work more on this relationship.
An any case, I just want to say that I'm very very proud of bob cos while many will tend to slack their way through NS with a negative attitude, he's been giving his 110% all the way, shining for Jesus. I'm really proud of him, his perseverance, even though he's so far away from us, from church and his loved ones. I'm even more proud of his willingness to go after his dreams and desires, but most of all, it's really God blessing him all the way. God has been very good to him, and he's having a breakthrough in his finances and the start of his future. Well done dear!
This makes me even more motivated to go after my dreams and desires, even though I've so many fears and doubts. I pray that God will grant me wisdom in my steps in life and that every step I take will be guided by Him and approved by Him. I hope I can do it man..
Thank you Jesus no matter what. This life is meant for celebration and to treasure and to glorify God!!!!
